A. A zine is defined as an anthology of creative content, collected in a single book and centered around a given theme. This zine welcomes page artists, writers, merch artists, spot artists, and alternate media creators to celebrate the wonderful women of Sonic!

Q. How many contributors are involved?

Q. How will contributors be compensated?
A. All contributors will be guaranteed a full digital bundle and the ability to purchase any physical items at production cost. Pending adequate sales during preorders, we hope to compensate for shipping or the cost of items entirely—we aim to cover a full bundle for each contributor.
Q. What is the zine's rating?
A. This zine is rated T according to AO3 guidelines. This includes canon-typical levels of violence, non-graphic depictions of injuries, romance without explicit sexual interaction, and depictions of grief and trauma responses.
A. Romance is not the focus of this zine! Female characters have a history of being reduced to love interests and attractiveness, and this zine is meant to break away from that. Any ships depicted are canon or ambiguous at the mods’ discretion.
Q. What characters are allowed in the zine? What about different universes?
A. We welcome works based on any canon Sonic the Hedgehog series — games, comics, anime, etc.! Is your favourite Sonic woman somebody who appears in one (1) single panel of one (1) single comic? Fret not — she’s more than welcome!
OCs are welcome as background characters and in applications, but we ask that the main characters of contributor pieces are focused on canon women in the media. Canon divergent content is welcome at the mods’ discretion; AUs are not the focus of this zine.
Q. But what about the male characters? They deserve to be represented, too! Why are you excluding them?
A. I invite you to sit in the corner and do some introspection.
Q. My favorite male character is basically a girl, right?
A. No.
(As much as I would love to be able to count characters like Metal Sonic that are commonly headcanoned as trans women, the point of this zine is to focus on the canonically female characters, who in particular are often sanded down and shoved to the side. Believe me, I love my girl Metal Sonic to bits! But for our purposes, she doesn't apply. Sorry.)
